What you pay

The price of the plan you chose, today, and that same price at every renewal until you cancel. There is no trial to forget about and no date coming at you.

• 12 months — $129 every 12 months.
• 3 months — $49 every 3 months.
• Monthly — $19 every month.

The introductory price and the renewal price are the same number. We do not sell a cheap first period that steps up later. If you paid $129 for your first twelve months, your next twelve months are $129.

For comparison, the nearest alternative in this category sells a discounted first period and then renews at $239.96 a year. That gap is the whole reason this page is one page long.

No trial, and why that is the better deal

We do not run a free trial, because a free trial asks a tired parent to remember to cancel before a date they did not write down. That is how this category generates its complaints, and the charge people describe as “surprise” is almost always the end of a trial.

So you are charged today and you have 30 days to change your mind — after using it, not before. Nothing to remember, no date, and the money comes back if you ask.

7 days before each renewal we email you to say it is coming, what it will be, and how to stop it. That email is not optional and you cannot be unsubscribed from it — it is the only message we send that you cannot turn off, and the reason is that a charge you did not see coming is the thing this whole page exists to prevent.

Cancelling

One tap, from your account, at any hour, with nobody to talk to and no reason to give. It takes effect immediately and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

You do not have to email us to cancel, and we will never ask you to. If you would rather, the instructions are on the cancel page and they are the same instructions.

Refunds

Within 30 days of a charge, ask and we refund it. No reason needed, nothing to prove, and you do not have to have used it. This is the guarantee that replaces a trial, and it is a stronger one: you get to use the whole thing first. Email hello@sayyay.app or use the button in your account.

After 30 days we will still look at it, and in practice we usually say yes. We are not going to keep money from a family who is not using this.

What happens to your child’s things if you stop

The plan we built stays yours. What a child has done in the app lives on the device, and deleting your account deletes what we hold about them from our side — see children’s privacy for the whole list, which is shorter than you would expect.

Price changes

If we ever change the price of a plan, it does not change for anyone already on it without an email at least 30 days ahead and a working link to cancel in that email. A price rise you find out about from your bank statement is not something we are going to do.
