The things people actually ask.

  • A letter beside a picture of something that starts with it, asking for just that first sound rather than the whole word.
  • A word broken into its parts, with a step rising under each part as the child says it.
  • A scene with a few things in it, each numbered in the order it was counted, and how many there were written out underneath.
  • A shape drawn as a path of dots, with the first few numbered in the order they are tapped, the rest waiting, and a progress bar underneath.

What this is

Is this speech therapy?
No. It is home practice to sit alongside a speech-language pathologist. If you are waiting on an appointment, keep the appointment.
Will it tell me what is wrong with my child?
No. There is no score, level or percentile anywhere in it.
What makes it different?
A child who says “the wed planet” gets the red planet. Nothing in the game weighs whether a word was good enough first. More on that.

What can my child play today?
Every game, in a browser, on any device. No download.
What does it need to run?
A browser — phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to download. On an iPhone or iPad, open it in Safari: Apple does not give Chrome or Firefox on iOS access to speech recognition, so the listening part cannot work in those. On a computer, Chrome or Safari.
Does it work without the internet?
Not yet. In a browser the games need a connection to open. What your child has done is kept on the device first, so a dropped signal loses nothing.
When is the app out?
No date yet, and we are not going to invent one. When it lands it is included at the price you are on.
How much screen time is this?
A round is thirty to ninety seconds, and a day is whatever you tell us in the quiz: 5, 10 or 15 minutes. You sit with them for it — none of it is built to be handed over and left.
My child will not talk to a screen.
11 of the games finish by tapping alone and 3 ask for no speech at all.

What does it cost?
12 months $129, 3 months $49, Monthly $19. The price you start on is the price at every renewal.
How do I cancel?
One tap in your account, any hour, no reason needed. You keep the games until the end of the period you already paid for. No login required, or read the full terms.
What if it is not a fit?
Email the word “refund” within 30 days of a charge and we send it back. No form, no reason, and you do not have to have used it.
Why is it cheaper than the alternatives?
Because we do not discount the first period and triple it later. Their year is $239.96. Ours is $129 and stays there.

Your family

Do you record my child’s voice?
No. There is nowhere in this product for a recording to go.
What about their photo?
Cropped on the device for the games that use it, and it never leaves the device.
Can my other child use it?
Yes. A second child is $29 on top of your subscription and gets their own plan, built from their own answers, under the same account. You can add them at any time.
Does my child have a login?
No — the account belongs to a grown-up and a child is a row underneath it. Here is why.
